Kentucky Lottery, Kentucky Distillers’ Association Roll Out ‘Kentucky Bourbon Trail®’ Lottery Games
The Kentucky Lottery and the Kentucky Distillers’ Association today rolled out Kentucky Bourbon Trail®-themed lottery games as part of a new partnership focused on promoting the organizations’ missions.
The Kentucky Lottery funds scholarships and grants for college students and their families in every region of the state. The Kentucky Distillers’ Association promotes, protects, and elevates the state’s signature Bourbon and Distilled Spirits Industry.
“The Kentucky Lottery is thrilled to collaborate with the Kentucky Distillers’ Association on this unique collection of licensed Kentucky Bourbon Trail®-themed lottery games,” said Kentucky Lottery President and CEO Mary Harville. “This partnership of two iconic Kentucky brands aims to leverage the rich heritage and widespread appeal of Kentucky’s signature Bourbon industry and its craft to create engaging lottery games for our players and retailers. It’s the perfect pairing.”
“We are always searching for opportunities to celebrate America’s native spirit, and this collaboration with the Kentucky Lottery is a prime example of how we are able to heighten awareness of Kentucky’s signature spirit and our Kentucky Bourbon Trail® adventure,” said Kentucky Distillers’ Association President Eric Gregory. “More importantly, this partnership will provide more students an opportunity to attend college through scholarships so they can continue their journey to become future leaders of our great Commonwealth.”
The Kentucky Bourbon Trail®-themed lottery games include a $5 Scratch-off ticket with four top prizes of $75,000; a $5 Fast Play ticket where players have a chance to win 50 percent of the current Fast Play jackpot; and an Instant Play (online) game with multiple price points and a chance to win up to $250,000.
Lottery players may enter Kentucky Bourbon Trail®-themed Scratch-off and Fast Play tickets in a second-chance promotion until Sunday, May 25, 2025. Players could win a tour package for two people of three Kentucky distilleries; a cash prize of $10,000; and themed swag. Kentucky Lottery proceeds have funded scholarships and grants for more than one million Kentucky college students. In Fiscal Year 2024, the Kentucky Lottery paid out more than $1.5 billion in prizes.
The Kentucky Bourbon Trail® tour is home to 60 distilleries throughout the Commonwealth, pouring much needed revenue into local communities and supporting the Bourbon industry’s $9 billion statewide economic impact every year. With Bourbon tourism continuing to grow, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® experience welcomed 2.7 million visitors in 2024 from all 50 states and more than 20 countries across six continents, the third straight year topping the two million mark.
