August 20, 2026

10th Anniversary Celebration Honors Kentucky Bourbon, Local Agriculture and the Community Behind the Spirit

FRANKLIN, Ky. — September 19, 2026 — Dueling Grounds Distillery will mark a decade of Kentucky craft distilling on Saturday, September 19, with Bourbon Harvest Picnic 2026, a 10th-anniversary celebration honoring the farmers, families and local producers who are part of the story behind Kentucky bourbon.

Themed “10 Years of Grain and Spirit,” the celebration will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dueling Grounds Distillery in Franklin. The event will highlight the connection between Kentucky’s bourbon industry and the agricultural communities that make it possible.

Guests can enjoy a whole-hog roast and BBQ available for purchase, along with coleslaw and beans. Special-edition Linkumpinch bourbon pours and tastings, craft cocktails, moonshine slushies, beer and soft drinks will be available throughout the event.

As part of the anniversary celebration, Dueling Grounds Distillery will also host an online auction of a rare Linkumpinch Bourbon bottle benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin.

Visitors will have the opportunity to take free distillery tours and tastings and see a display of antique tractors presented by the Antique Tractor and Implement Club of Simpson County.

The celebration will also showcase Simpson County agriculture and independent, family-owned farms and producers from the region, including Walnut Grove Farms, Ruby Branch Farms, Heartland Chia and Chandler Beef.

“Bourbon starts with grain, and grain starts with agriculture,” said Marc Dottore, owner and founder of Dueling Grounds Distillery. “For our 10th anniversary, we wanted to celebrate more than just our distillery. We wanted to celebrate the farmers, families and local producers who are part of the story behind what we make.”

Founded in 2016, Dueling Grounds Distillery has spent the past decade producing small-batch Kentucky spirits while building a destination for visitors interested in bourbon, craft spirits, food and Kentucky hospitality. Located in Franklin, Kentucky, just a few miles from Interstate 65 between Nashville and Bowling Green, the distillery welcomes visitors to experience Kentucky spirits in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

The Bourbon Harvest Picnic is open to the public and will be held rain or shine. Free Entry. All ages welcome.
