Manhattan cocktail on a bar with a brandied cherry

Classic Manhattan


  • 2 parts Kentucky Bourbon
  • 1 part Sweet Vermouth
  • Dashes of bitters (Angostura or otherwise)


  1. Add Bourbon, vermouth and bitters to a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled
  2. Strain into coupe glass, add a cherry and serve

    Glassware: coupe
    Served: up
    Garnish: Luxardo or candied cherry (optional)
