Mint Julep
Ingredients
- 2 parts Kentucky Bourbon
- ½ part simple syrup
- Fresh Kentucky Colonel mint
Instructions
- In a julep cup, combine ~8 fresh Kentucky Colonel mint leaves with simple syrup and lightly muddle
- Add Bourbon and crushed ice to ¾ full, and stir until the silver cup is chilled on the outside
- Mound with ice and pack tightly, garnish with a sprig of mint and an eco-straw (the straw was invented just for mint juleps!)
Glassware: silver julep cup
Served: crushed ice
Garnish: large sprig of mint, eco-straw
