Bourbon Employees Volunteer to Help Maintain Banks of River That Feeds Distillery

September 27, 2021

For Immediate Release – September 27, 2021

Four Roses gathers for fifth annual Salt River Clean Up

Employees from Four Roses will volunteer to remove litter and debris to maintain the riverbank of the Salt River that flows near the Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Ky.

One of Four Roses’ most important ingredients for handcrafting award-winning Bourbons is fresh, limestone-rich water from Kentucky’s spring-fed Salt River. Therefore, Four Roses is committed to preserving this resource today and for the future.

For the Clean Up event, the group of Four Roses employees will target the dam and concrete area, as well as the highway where it forks on each side of the river, and along the roadway.
