LOUISVILLE, Ky. (January 23, 2012) — Four Roses Bourbon and Nanz & Kraft Florist are teaming up for the fifth consecutive Four Roses Flower Hour, a special Valentine’s shopping and bourbon tasting event which benefits Brightside. The event will be held on Friday, February 10, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Nanz & Kraft in St. Matthews (141 Breckenridge Lane).

Four Roses Flower Hour provides an opportunity to take care of Valentine’s Day gifts while sipping award-winning bourbon and enjoying hors d’oeuvres with Master Distiller Jim Rutledge. In addition, the first 100 guests to arrive will also receive a special Four Roses Valentine’s gift.

“This event continues to grow every year,” said Jim Rutledge, Four Roses Master Distiller. “It’s an informal night where people can come out after work or before dinner to kick off their weekend, contribute to a great cause, relax and plan a special Valentine surprise.”

“Shopping for the perfect Valentine’s Day gift can oftentimes be stressful,” said Eddie Kraft, owner of Nanz & Kraft. “Our staff is trained to give each customer personal assistance, and the relaxed atmosphere of the evening makes the experience enjoyable.”

The cost to attend Flower Hour is a minimum donation of $5 at the door, and 100 percent of all donations will benefit Brightside, a Louisville organization known for blooming roses, daffodils, and other flowers planted at various bright sites across the community. Brightside is engaged in “uniting people in clean and green activities to beautify the city and foster community pride.”
