Four Roses Bourbon and Brooklyn Beer collaboration to launch December 9

Event featuring New York-based Brewmaster Garrett Oliver and

Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott celebrates limited-release Brooklyn Black Ops beer

Bourbon lovers and beer fans alike are invited to be among the first in the area to taste the latest Brooklyn Brewery Black Ops, a new, limited-release beer aged in Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon barrels that were hand-selected by Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott.

Guests of a December 9 launch celebration at Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg will have the opportunity to sample Brooklyn Black Ops and mingle with Master Distiller Brent Elliott and Brewmaster Garrett Oliver, hear the story behind the new bourbon barrel-aged beer collaboration, and enjoy appetizers and live music with The Jeff Blackburn Band.

This vintage of Brooklyn Black Ops was aged for months in the Four Roses Small Batch barrels and re-fermented with Champagne yeast. The Russian Imperial Stout, with a 12.4% ABV, raises a fluffy dark brown head, and combines big chocolate and coffee notes with a rich underpinning of vanilla-like oak.

Brooklyn Black Ops will be available in limited quantities wherever Brooklyn Brewery is available.

This event is for those 21 years of age and older. Brooklyn Brewery Black Ops will not be available for purchase at the event, but distribution information will be provided.
