Funds raised in less than three hours at 13th annual event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (February 13, 2020) – Four Roses and Nanz & Kraft Florists hosted the 13th annual Four Roses Flower Hour event on Friday, February 7, raising nearly $6,500 to benefit the American Heart Association.

Flower Hour provided an opportunity to take care of Valentine’s Day shopping while sipping award-winning Bourbon and enjoying complimentary hors d’oeuvres and live jazz music with Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott.

“It means a great deal to us to partner with Four Roses and Nanz & Kraft to raise awareness about heart health during American Heart Month,” said Karrie Harper, American Heart Association. “As heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women, it is wonderful to see how much we’re able to raise during Flower Hour every year.”

Flower Hour also featured a silent auction with an array of items, including a few award-winning Limited Edition Four Roses bottlings, a Nanz & Kraft Valentine’s bouquet, tickets to the 2020 Louisville Heart Ball and more, with all proceeds benefitting the American Heart Association. This year’s Flower Hour fell on National Wear Red Day and guests were encouraged to help raise heart disease awareness by wearing red to the event.

“We all had a great time celebrating the event in its 13th year and look forward to continuing this partnership for many years to come,” said Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliott.

Nanz & Kraft prepared a special “Go Red for Women” flower arrangement, including a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch, available for purchase during the entire month of February in store or at nanzandkraft.com/go-red. Nanz & Kraft will donate $10 of each “Go Red for Women” flower arrangement purchase to the American Heart Association.
