The drawing for these prizes will be held on Sunday, October 18 to conclude the weekend of virtual fun.

“While the virtual event is less than ideal – and we would much rather be welcoming you to our ‘living room’ in Bardstown – we are extremely excited by the opportunity to bring our world-class programming to your ‘living rooms’ this year,” said Randy Prasse, President and COO of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. “The virtual format allows us to showcase the quality we intend to continue to offer in all of our live programs in years to come – from the top heritage and craft distilleries, their master distillers and brand ambassadors. We’ve packaged this up in a unique way to deliver a truly unique Bourbon experience not available anywhere else but from the Bourbon Capital of the World®. We hope to also use this year’s event to unveil details about our 30th anniversary KBF event in 2021!”

Nearly 20 live and recorded ‘Spirits Education Sessions’ can be viewed online throughout the weekend. All will require free registration to attend by visiting kybourbonfestival.com and clicking on the Eventbrite link associated with the session.

Viewers will enjoy virtual sessions that include: The Art of Whiskey Making (a five-part series featuring multiple master distillers teaching the particulars of bourbon making); the Bottled-in-Bond Happy Hour, where we’ll toast this landmark law, its great whiskeys and cocktails made with them; Cocktail Quickies (between-session breaks in which mixologists give rapid-fire lessons on cocktails you can make at home); and a new Bourbon Legends Series, in which some of the industry’s most famous families will share hilarious and heartwarming stories. All sessions will encourage participants to buy their bourbons and cocktail ingredients in advance at KBF’s new partner, Kroger Grocery – the exclusive retail partner of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival® – to play along at home.
